Castlewood sits along the Clinch River in Russell County, tucked between St. Paul to the west and Cleveland to the east. The river is the heart of the place. Kayakers, anglers, and the Clinch River Sojourn paddlers move through town each summer, and the wooded ridges that frame the valley give Castlewood its quiet, settled character. Castlewood High School and the surrounding river-bottom neighborhoods anchor the community day to day, alongside the small clusters of homes and family farms in Dante, Carbo, and Cleveland just up the road.

For Castlewood residents, both of our Lebanon offices are an easy drive, generally about twenty minutes east on Route 58. The Pioneer Drive Office sits on the north side of Lebanon and is home to our counseling team, including therapists who offer EMDR for trauma, anxiety, and difficult memories in adults, teens, and children ages 7 and older. The East Main Office is just a short distance away on the other side of town and houses our psychiatric medication management services, GeneSight® pharmacogenetic testing, and Spravato® treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression.

If the drive feels like too much on a hard week, or your schedule is full of school pickups and work shifts, telehealth is a good fallback. Established clients can meet with their provider by secure video from home, from a quiet office, or from anywhere they happen to be in Virginia. The goal is simple. We want care to be close enough, and flexible enough, that you actually keep showing up for it.
