Honaker sits in the northern stretch of Russell County, along Route 80 where the county meets the Buchanan and Tazewell lines. Honaker Elementary and Honaker High School, both part of Russell County Public Schools, anchor the area alongside the surrounding farm and ridge communities. The town is best known for the Honaker Redbud Festival each spring, a community celebration of the namesake redbud trees that bloom rosy-pink across the hillsides every April. The festival has drawn neighbors and visitors from across Southwest Virginia for more than four decades.

From Honaker, both of our Lebanon offices are generally about a twenty to twenty-five minute drive south, taking Route 80 down to US-19. The Pioneer Drive Office, on the north side of Lebanon, is home to our counseling team, including EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, and difficult memories in adults, teens, and children ages 7 and older. The East Main Office, on the east side of town, is where you’ll find psychiatric medication management with April Colley, FNP-BC, PMHNP; GeneSight® pharmacogenetic testing; and Spravato® treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression. Together the two offices cover the full spectrum of what we do, from a first counseling appointment to ongoing medication care.

The drive down through the ridges is a familiar one for Honaker families. On days when the weather, school schedules, or the calendar just won’t cooperate, established clients can meet with their provider by secure telehealth from home.
