Privacy Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices

How we protect your information.

Privacy Policy

Pioneer Counseling Center is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information. Any information submitted through our website is handled with care and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional standards.

Information submitted through website forms should be limited to basic contact information only. Please do not submit confidential medical, mental health, or sensitive personal information through unsecured website forms or email communications.

To keep this website running well and to help us improve it, we use a small number of third-party services. None of them are used to collect protected health information, and protected health information should never be sent through this website. Authenticated communication with your provider belongs in the SimplePractice patient portal at pioneer.clientsecure.me.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4): we use GA4 to see anonymized, aggregated information about how visitors find and move through the site (for example, which pages are most read and which links are clicked). This helps us improve the site over time. If you would prefer not to be measured, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Netlify Forms: our website is hosted on Netlify, and any form you submit (for example, a callback request) is processed and stored briefly by Netlify before it reaches us. Netlify is not a HIPAA business associate of the practice, which is why our forms are limited to basic contact information. Please do not include medical, mental health, or other sensitive details in a website form; use the patient portal instead.

Google Maps: we embed Google Maps on the contact page and on our areas-served pages so you can find our offices easily. When a map loads or you interact with it, you are connecting to Google as a separate service, and that interaction is subject to Google's own privacy practices.

By using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

Pioneer Counseling Center is dedicated to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your protected health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains:

  • How medical and mental health information may be used and disclosed
  • Your rights regarding your protected health information
  • How to access or request copies of your records
  • How to file privacy-related concerns or complaints

A complete copy of our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request and through the patient portal.
