Telehealth appointments may be available for established clients depending on clinical appropriateness and provider availability. If the drive to Lebanon is long or your week is full, telehealth lets you continue the work with the same provider from home.

Telehealth Requirements

Before your appointment.

  • Clients must be physically located in Virginia at the time of the appointment. Our providers are licensed in Virginia only.
  • Sessions should occur in a private, distraction-free environment where you can speak freely.
  • A secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform is used for all virtual appointments, accessed through our patient portal.

In a mental health emergency

Pioneer Counseling Center does not provide crisis stabilization or emergency psychiatric services. If you or someone you love is in crisis, call 911, go to your nearest emergency department, or call/text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
